In 2558, the company has launched the project called “The Wharf Samui” at Bo Put, Ko Samui, Surat Thani. In addition, there is a plan to expand a shopping center project called “The Market by Platinum shopping center” and two 3-4 stars hotel projects within 3-4 years. The detail is explained below.
On December 31, 2015 the company started 2 projects which are “The Platinum Fashion Mall” and “The Wharf Samui” projects. The shopping mall’s income is from rental fees, services, food and beverage, public utility, and parking fees. The company has a development stage for shopping center, by considering possibilities to acquire the land for project development, investment on land, impacts on the project, contractor selection, project control and management for completion, arrangement of products and services, and find renters or customers during the project development until all the units are rented before opening the shopping center.
In the present, the company has a 4 star hotel business which is “Novotel Hotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam” in Bangkok city. The hotel provides rooms, restaurant, conference room, ballroom, and other services such as swimming pool, spa, and fitness. The company has a policy to do the hotel business by hiring famous hotel managers to manage the hotel to meet the international standards. Customers will be satisfied with the hotel services. The company has contracted on hotel management agreement with Accor, which is a famous international hotel management network for management of “Novotel Hotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam” for 10 years, since the hotel had opened in November 2011.
The company has a food and beverage business located in “The Platinum Fashion Mall” 6th floor for selling Thai and international food 23 stalls, 3 stalls for beverage and 18 stalls for dessert. The company has provided more than 1000 seats for customers.
“S.P.C Properties and Development Company Limited” was registered with 200million baht for the development of the fashion wholesale shopping center “The Platinum Fashion Mall”.
“S.P.T Management Company Limited” was registered with 60million baht with no business at that moment.

The company and Gaysorn group hold 49.90 percent shares for the development and management of BTS skywalk from Chidlom station to the fashion wholesale shopping center “The Platinum Fashion Mall”, “Market by Platinum (in the future)” and major shopping centers in Ratchaprasong.

The company invested on the land in Bo Phut Samui Surat Thani 32.1 million baht from the committees and shareholders of the company for the hotel development project.

In the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders 2/2014 on June 17, 2014, The Platinum Group Company Limited was approved as a public company called “The Platinum Group Public Company Limited (PLC)” and the changed the value of ordinary share which was 100 baht previously to 1 baht. The company had ordinary shares of 1,946.5 million shares, each of 1 baht, which was fully paid.
In addition, it was also approved that the company increased the capital from 1,946.5 million baht to 2,800 million baht, by issuing 853.5 million more ordinary shares, each of 1 baht. The allotment and offering was for existing shareholders in proportion with the total of 153.5 million shares, each of 1 baht, with the total of 153.5 million baht.
