The Platinum Group Public Company Limited, operator of The Platinum Fashion Mall—ASEAN’s leading wholesale fashion hub—continues to advance its mission of responsible business practices through energy efficiency and sustainability. Most recently, it was awarded the MEA ENERGY AWARDS 2025 emblem at the Standard level, under the 8th Annual Building Energy Efficiency Enhancement Program, organized by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA).
This recognition reflects The Platinum Fashion Mall’s successful implementation of key energy-saving measures in alignment with MEA’s stringent evaluation criteria. These initiatives include upgrading the air conditioning system for greater efficiency, replacing traditional lighting with energy-saving LED fixtures, and enhancing the building’s automation control systems. In addition, the mall has actively promoted energy awareness through educational outreach, stakeholder engagement, and campaigns to encourage collective participation in energy conservation.
The MEA ENERGY AWARDS 2025 are based on two primary evaluation criteria:
• Electricity Consumption Index (MEA Index)
• Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
Receiving this award is a testament to The Platinum Fashion Mall’s ongoing efforts in energy management and its commitment to maintaining a high standard of indoor air quality for all visitors. It also reflects The Platinum Group’s broader dedication to operating with integrity, transparency, and environmental consciousness under its ongoing initiative, “Power Plat Green.”
This achievement aligns with the company’s sustainability policy, which emphasizes environmental responsibility, social impact, and sound corporate governance. These pillars are essential drivers of long-term performance and represent the foundation for sustainable growth and future success.
